2026 has started: logistics keys for the first quarter

The start of the year is the best excuse to reorganise processes, clear obsolete stock and pave the way for the peaks ahead.

1. January is not as flat as it seems

Although it is not a high season, January has opportunities: new collection launches, home/organisation products, and "fresh start" habits.

2. February is the key month to adjust

Many brands correct Q4 mistakes during February: over-purchasing, stock-outs, logistics errors. It is the ideal month to calibrate your real forecast.

3. March already smells like spring

From March onwards, many categories (fashion, sport, home, outdoor) start preparing SS24 collections. It is time to make room, plan and adjust volume.

4. Tidy up before you grow

Q1 is a good time to clear unsold stock, renegotiate with suppliers, redefine minimum order quantities and work on forecasts more realistically.

The first quarter is the "reset" of the year. Using it well makes the difference between improvising… and leading.
